I was taking pictures of various stuff for our blog redesign, one of which was a jar of buttons.
I accidentally knocked the FULL jar of buttons over. Ugh, I was so mad at myself, until I actually took a moment to just look at the buttons, rather than looking at the mess I had to pick up.
That was a moment of Serendipity! They looked so pretty. I could have spent hours trying, trying being the key word, to make them look like they had just spilled out across the concrete, and "ta dah" here they are, created all by themselves. (is "themselves" a word?)

So my thought for the day is to step back from what at first glance appears to be a disaster, take a breath, look again, and maybe it's a gift, not a mess.

So even if you're not, clap your hands, and think a happy thought! Then laugh because it felt so silly.

Peeps! Nothing says Easter or Spring to me like Peeps!

I anxiously await the arrival of Spring, first come Girl Scout Cookies, then the Peeps!  I buy dozens of both! Dare I confess, I buy dozens and dozens of them!

Spring arrived, while I wasn't looking!

I've been so busy I haven't paid attention to what's going on, right in my own backyard!  When I looked out today, I was amazed!  Birds are chirping, roses are blooming, bees are all a buzz, and most delicious of all, the Lemon trees are in bloom.  The scent of the Lemon blossoms is quite intoxicatingly delicious.

 

Lilacs, one of the springiest of all flowers to me!

 

Lemon Tree in bloom, ummm, can you smell it!  The bees paid absolutely no attention to me.  I'd like to believe they are drunk on the delicious nectar and smell, but, I think they are just working really, really hard!

 

 

Bailey is also enjoying the spring blossoms

 

Ugh, the aphids!  But, they also announce the arrival of spring.

ATC for 7gypsies Wins!

Imagine my delight and SURPRISE, when for the heck of it I clicked on one of my very fav blogs, the 7gypsies blog at http://sevengypsies.blogspot.com/2009/03/atc-challenge-winner.html to see what was going on in gypsy land, and see my ATC, what!?, holy cow, yep,  MINE on the post. 
I WON their ATC contest. Oh my Goodness, Oh my goodness,  I'm a very happy gypsy girl right now!  Did you see what I won?  whoooo Hooooo, ATC's by 7gypsies designer, Janelle Smith, plus ATC supplies.  The contest theme was Romance, I posted a bunch!  LOL
